'நீட்' விதிவிலக்கு கேட்பது அவமானம் : முன்னாள் துணைவேந்தர் பாலகுருசாமி பேச்சு

'' Don't choose Neat; It is a shame to ask for an exception, '' said Anna University former vice chancellor Balakurusamy.

Speaking at a private school function in Tiruppur yesterday, former Anna University Vice Chancellor Balakurusamy said:

Parents have the first duty to raise the student to be disciplined. Parents are responsible for being at home half the time and at home the rest of the time. The events that are happening in the school today, are disgusting. We need to make the younger generation more disciplined.

Don’t ‘Need’ to give good quality education and stop preparing the student; It is a shame to ask for an exception. No other state in India has said no to ‘Need’; There is no point in memorizing and buying marks. Only with a little understanding can knowledge grow. Only education can create change.

Thus he spoke. ''நீட் தேர்வு வேண்டாம்; விதிவிலக்கு வேண்டும் என கேட்பது அவமானம்,'' என்று அண்ணா பல்கலை முன்னாள் துணைவேந்தர் பாலகுருசாமி கூறினார்.

திருப்பூரில் நேற்று நடந்த தனியார் பள்ளி நிகழ்ச்சி ஒன்றில் பங்கேற்ற, அண்ணா பல்கலை முன்னாள் துணைவேந்தர் பாலகுருசாமி பேசியதாவது:

மாணவரை ஒழுக்கமானவராக வளர்க்கும் முதல் கடமை பெற்றோருக்கு உண்டு. பள்ளியில் பாதிநேரம், மீதி நேரம் வீட்டிலும் இருப்பதால், பெற்றோருக்கும் பொறுப்பு உண்டு. இன்றைய காலகட்டத்தில் பள்ளியில் நடப்பதாக வரும் நிகழ்வுகள், வெறுக்கத்தக்கவையாக இருக்கின்றன. இளைய சமுதாயத்தினரை ஒழுக்கம் நிறைந்தவர்களாக மாற்ற வேண்டும்.

நல்ல தரமான கல்வியை கொடுத்து, மாணவரை தயார்படுத்துவதை விட்டுவிட்டு 'நீட்' வேண்டாம்; விதிவிலக்கு வேண்டும் என கேட்பது அவமானம். இந்தியாவின் வேறு எந்த மாநிலமும் 'நீட்' வேண்டாம் என சொல்லவில்லை; மனப்பாடம் செய்து மதிப்பெண் வாங்கி பயனில்லை. கொஞ்சமாவது புரிந்து படித்தால் தான், அறிவு வளரும். கல்வியால் மட்டுமே மாற்றத்தை உருவாக்க முடியும்.
