In response, Minister MRK Panneerselvam said: The member king himself can do this. If he volunteers to start an agricultural college the necessary assistance will be made available on behalf of the government. You need at least 110 acres of land to set up an agricultural college. Similarly 600 acres of land is required to set up a new Agricultural University. Appropriate action will be taken in consultation with the Chief Minister to set up a new Agricultural University in Tamil Nadu at the request of DRP Raja. Thus he said வேளாண்மை கல்லூரி

உறுப்பினர் ராஜாவே இதைச் செய்யலாம். அவர் விவசாயக் கல்லூரி தொடங்க முன்வந்தால் அரசின் சார்பில் தேவையான உதவிகள் செய்யப்படும். ஒரு விவசாயக் கல்லூரி அமைக்க குறைந்தது 110 ஏக்கர் நிலம் வேண்டும். அதேபோல் புதிய வேளாண் பல்கலைக்கழகம் அமைக்க 600 ஏக்கர் நிலம் தேவைப்படுகிறது. டி.ஆர்.பி.ராஜா கோரிக்கையை ஏற்று தமிழகத்தில் புதிய வேளாண் பல்கலைக்கழகம் அமைக்க முதல்வருடன் ஆலோசித்து உரிய நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படும். இவ்வாறு அவர் கூறினார்
