The High Court has ordered that the CBCID inquiry into the medical student admissions malpractice case will go ahead. The former Secretary of the Selection Board appealed and the Madras High Court closed the case. In the ongoing case, it has been ordered that the students were admitted without proper consultation in 2020-21. The Chief Justice of the High Court has ordered the departmental inquiry to be completed within 6 months.
